Once I was on a flight to Denver that arrived at sunrise.
It was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had.
I have hoped to see this view on other morning flights into Denver but it has never been the same. The last one being stuck in the middle with a passenger who kept the window shade closed the whole time we were in air. At least I had this picture to think of.
I love to take pictures out of a plane. It is so exciting. Thanks for this very pretty photol.
Closing the window shade on planes is just cruel! I love flying at night and looking down on all the small towns. Great photo!
I have a similar memory of an incredible sunrise seen from a plane and that I’ve always hoped would be duplicated, alas. Great that you got the photograph–gorgeous colors.
What a delicious shot!
Beautiful View – thanks for sharing!
I second your thoughts. The only thing that makes paying for a plane ticket palatable is having a window seat!
on a night flight from Boston to Atlanta, during a full moon I noticed that a reflection of the full moon was visible below and mentioned it to my wife loud enough for the man in front of us and at the window to look and then take his camera and take a few shots. I wondered how they came out as this was before digital.
