Location scouting for an upcoming photo shoot brought me to the north end if the Great Salt Lake. Pretty desolate looking and just what I had in mind. Have any of the blog followers travelled this route to the Lucin sun tunnels?

Reminds me of a place in Colorado. There is nothing except a small green road sign that says “Desolation Valley,” and a road that stretches along to nowhere. Love it!

Maybe I should visit there. What part of Colorado?
You probably should. Pretty desolate place, but I love it. It’s in Southwestern Colorado. Hwy 141 coming from Cortez up to Placerville.
I’m looking for info on the Raft River Range. Have you explored up in that area?
